GEOTUS appeared to enter from the North Portico (so entered from outdoors) and to stand and speak from Entrance Hall, while all the fake news reporters were seated in Cross Hall.
I cannot recall ever seeing a presidential speech from this location. Thoughts?
So I had it backwards then. He entered from the Blue Oval Room and spoke from Cross Hall. Reporters were in Entrance Hall.
Mixing it up on background (set?) would be interesting with all the options around DC.
Monuments, museums, agencies.
White House may have the smallest press room (it’s a repurposed hallway) in DC. No reason he can’t use the one at the Pentagon, or State, etc.
