To any Anons that were asking about this, I did do some additional digging on Jim Watkin's videos that he was posting on YouTube.

Forgive me if I forget some key information, as I can't remember what prompted all of this that came up. But some of the Anons were asking me about a comment by Jim in regards to fuckery that was going on during the window when 8kun was trying to come back online.

I remember him mentioning a serious DDOS attack that was going on while they were struggling to get the site online.

I misquoted Jim, it was a 500 Gigabit attack.

I've embedded the video in question in this post, he mentions it almost right at the start of the video.

On a related note I was watching a number of his other videos, and I think there is more going on in them, information wise, than I think people realized to those that were watching them in real time, and may benefit from additional anons scrubbing through them.

While this list isn't exhaustive, I did take some relevant notes regarding things I heard or saw in the videos, and some quick time stamps for any other anons that might want to look into this. I'll put the info and time stamps in a followup post to this one to avoid an already growing wall of text.

On a side note, I'd also like to add that it seems like he was talking a lot about his corny behavior as being some kind of measure to avoid censorship from big tech companies, and he had another couple videos where he was talking extensively about eating Panda meat. Which I believe was an effort to scrub China out of the equation, as talking about Pandas in such a way is forbidden by the government - as I understand it.

Hope this gets some almonds activated for other anons out there that were looking at this earlier today.

Interesting you should mention that, Anon, one point of interest I'd like to mention in that regard, as to "Follow The Pen" - is that Jim had his geolocation enabled for pretty much all of his videos during that time frame when the site was offline - perhaps even prior, this was not an exhaustive dig.

But I would bring up the fact the he was all over the place. He was geotagged in almost all of his videos. Follow the pen - could there be a connection between where he was located and events pertaining to those areas?

Just a thought.
