My awesome boomer father tells me that back in the day, people who wore socks with sandals when he was in school were either mentally challenged, a former prisoner, Gay, or seriously fucked in the head.
I left the house one day with sandals and sox and he clowned me, gave me a strange look, then proceeded to inform me that shit wasn't right…i left anyway wearing sox with my sandals. He was right.
Now i wouldn't be caught wearing that shit.
Ive been seriously trying to understand this so i can rationalize my own christchuckness.
How do you know they're morals, and where do the morals come from?
Other peoples morals can be pretty sick, so who's right and who's wrong?

If nothing matters after you die, why are you or people trying so hard to be moral now, if by being atheist nothing matters in the end after you die.
if you're an atheist why does that matter and how does that effect your incentive as an atheist to me moral good or bad. (is jail the deterrent)
(what is good and bad mean.) Is it determined by our culture or another person or a bunch of people.
Why does it matter if others do evil or hurt other people, if their morals are right then that means nothing is wrong?
I just can wrap my head around it…..
from my view…being an atheist is like walking around with your hands over your eyes, the moment you walk into a wall or bump into something you proclaim the wall shouldn't be there or doesn't exist at all.
That still doesn't explain why the wall is there.
