dems sticking to their guns to the end? R's know they are screwed and bailing?

I tried finding this earlier. Do you know what the usual turn over from retirements is normally?

2018: 104 out of 435 did not seek reelection.

it looks as i read that the reason the incumbant %'s are so high because all the dead weight either retires instead of running. The people bailing seem to be the ones who can't win reelection….or maybe are not worth funding for reelection. Maybe this is the first year the crooks in the R are getting shitcanned. And the D's are fighting to the bitter end. 2018 and previous it was a racket that would not waste re-election funds on dead weight or those not in the parade of robbery. just spittballing on this part.
