“American Horror Story” actor Harry Hains has died at the age of 27.

The performer’s mother, actress Jane Badler, confirmed the news Thursday with an Instagram post.

“On Jan 7 my beautiful son died,” she wrote. “He was 27 and had the world at his feet.”

She goes on to say that Hains, who was born in Melbourne, Australia, had “struggled with mental illness and addiction.” Badler, 66, did not reveal her son’s cause of death.

Hains moved to the US to pursue modeling and acting, and appeared in shows such as “The OA,” “The Deleted,” and “American Horror Story: Hotel” alongside Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett.

He was also a musician who performed under the moniker ANTIBOY — hinting at his own gender fluidity, which he discussed in UK-based magazine Boys By Girls last year.

“If I had to pick a label it would be in the realm of gender fluid,” Hains told the outlet. “I know that I am born male but I don’t think I represent what it means to be a man.

“I believe we should be whatever we want. It gets kind of confusing when we start labelling ourselves so I try to stay away from labels.”

Badler played the role of Diana Marshall in the Australian soap opera “Neighbours” in 2010, and appeared in many American television series in the ’80s, including the cult hit miniseries “V,” “Falcon Crest” and “Mission: Impossible.”

She said of her son: “A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time . . . I will miss you Harry every day of my life.”
