Both can be true, these are not mutually exclusive. The Universe is big enough for good aliens, bad aliens, good humans, bad humans. We have proof of the existence and influence of all 4 of these groups.

Consider the vastness of space. That little (massive in fact) pinprick on your logic cannot be ignored. That's a tall order, prove the existence of extraterrestrials in UFOs while UFOs themselves are still considered sci-fi/distraction/meaningless. Challenge accepted.
