The strategic case for owning gold remains strong…

Q2619: Gold → Future Proves Past

SIDE NOTE: My niece is dating a young man whose father works at no such agency in Maryland. When they came down to visit last summer, I was explaining the history of gold and silver as currency over dinner and the young man said, "you know that's funny because my father has been hoarding physical gold for the past couple years and the family thinks he has lost his mind." :-)

Personally, I think investing in physical Silver (eg JFK half $s) has greater ROI potential, is easier to use as legal currency (or for bartering), and has far more practical uses (e.g. water and food purification).

>“I don’t think they [the Trump officials] were trying to deceive us, but I think some of what they said was emblematic of Congress’s willingness to relinquish its war powers, and that’s an issue,” Lee added, noting that the officials who briefed Congress are “good people.”

>“The reason I think we need to do this [War Powers resolution] is consistent with the president’s desire to keep us out of excessive, unnecessary wars,” Lee said, citing the vision of the founding fathers.
