Maybe it makes you dumb when you smoke. But I have seen others that it makes them more creative. It increases dopamine and serotonin and other neurotransmitters. So for someone that is ADD it can help increase these neuro chemicals opening up other areas of the brain.

Helping with focus, attention and creativity. Yeah and I know people who have worked for security agencies that are savants in the area of tech. So your statement is inaccurate. In fact many agencies hire hackers that have been caught. Most of them were major drug users. Not just pot but meth and coke.

Everyone is wired differently. Litterally when it comes to neuro chemistry, neurophysically. We are all completely different by design. Everyone mileage does vary. With that in mind we cannot definitively say its black or white. Definitely a grey area. When you comprehend the placebo effect and how pharmaceutical companies have to account for it in all drug trials. Its a 30% sway typically when performing results analysis. There is so little we know about the brain. But stating that is one way or the other is impossible when it truly is a state of mind and core subconscious beliefs.
