Trump does not seem to have any objection to the fiat currency system. Don't expect it to change. His successors will presumably be of similar mind.
The only problem is that bad actors can inflate and pop bubbles at will. It's the ultimate in market manipulation and insider trading. This is where we might see changes.
At one point I thought cryptocurrencies showed promise. But then I watched them devolve into a sort of consensual ponzi scheme.

The board is not being run on either. It's a conventional website with a SQL backend and a web frontend. And it has recently had a blockchain archive scheme bolted on. But only archiving a few scattered post, and no images, is of very little practical value. What CM should have done is archive whole threads when they fill up. They're only about 350k.
