Not just Astor. What if Westinghouse had not fallen on hard time- which I wonder if it was engineered by J. P. Morgan. I think Tesla signed over patent trying to help Westinghouse, as I recall. Westinghouse was no slouch. He and Tesla would have been interesting to see continue.
