It's only one example, but I have in the past done a good bit of research on the Coca-Cola company. As far as color goes with relevance to the company, I can say that they are RABID about protecting their trademarks and copyrights on that particular shade of red. Their logos and other images go without saying; try to use it without permission, and you'll have an entire building full of lawyers coming down on your head.
Being literally covered in gold may be their equivalent of a coronation; so the Rothschilds are likely the top of the elite anthill.
I would add the internet as a distraction. Over the past several years, my family has been a sad trainwreck after one crushing death and then a terrible estrangement that I've been unable to "fix".
