I'm not fucking around, everyone of my friends who work there know they are garbage, even H1B people who work on site know that the outsourced work is garbage. Yet we don't verify what they deliver.
We have them for the work we do here but we don't for the work delivered to us from India. We just let them peer review it themselves.
Guess I'll stop caring. Outsourced verification work for avionics software is sub par. They always miss test cases. Just letting the world know. I'll do my best to inform my company when I come across it. (they still won't stop outsourcing though because it's cheap). Sick of it. K bye. Just a shout out to those listening.
Fuck it don't care. Aviation software companies outsource their verification work to India. The product India returns is garbage. The companies here do not peer review the work delivered from India. The software gets delivered to customers with zero checks on the work from India. They do NOT CARE. They only care about profits and outsourcing the verification testing to save money. DOES ANYONE GIVE A SHIT?
it is commercial. It is the FMS ( flight management system ) software. The stuff that shows up in the cockpit for these pilots. The company I work for also does government contracts.
