This is written for the archives, for future historians and readers who wish to understand our time.

For future generations, to not know will be incomprehensible. You have lived your entire life with this knowledge, and (for many of you) so has everyone you have ever known. Understanding is ubiquitous, the truth clear as day, and this has has always been so.

In contrast, for the majority of the people in this moment in time (and for all the years that have come before), to know is incomprehensible. Even a small part of the truth would be dismissed as implausible fiction. Even those who brushed against the cabal imagined it to be a far smaller and localized problem.

To understand life in this time, it will be absolutely essential to step into the monumental expanse of this blindness and ignorance. Before the Great Awakening, humanity was in the Great Sleep. To future readers, can you understand what that really means? Can you close your eyes, to live with us for a short time in your imagination?

This is unlike the shift in perspective we must consider when looking back to past generations, when people were unaware of facts and knowledge yet to be discovered. You must contemplate, and step into, our ignorance of the true history of our own time (and even the history of what is - even for us - our own past.)
