I am looking at this Hamming distance thing. I noticed the relationship doing some doodling and think it might also related to human/institutional/cultural development.

 

Due to the Hamming distance properties of Gray codes, they are sometimes used in genetic algorithms. They are very useful in this field, since mutations in the code allow for mostly incremental changes, but occasionally a single bit-change can cause a big leap and lead to new properties.

 

This is "my own thing". I made it accidentally without knowing what you are talking about. Anything you want to tell me about this thing is cool though. Apparently it solves a hypercube, whatever the fuck that is.

i don't know how this works. it is some sort of tuner. all i know is you can count 256 solar years on it and that equals one Ahaw cycle or 93,000 kin in the mayan system of counting time.

I think this represents how the brain generates our "holographic" reality.

 

We are viewing a "strobe" reality. The hertz on our "occular frame rate" is too low to see the strobing effect.
