After the death of Nikola Tesla, John G. Trump, the man who was called in by the US government to examine Tesla's papers, continued the work with high voltage energy. Three years after Tesla's death, John Trump and 2 colleagues founded High Voltage Engineering Corporation. They built high energy particle accelerators for use in the nuclear industry and in various kinds of research.

But then something strange happened. Just as their latest device pumped up the energy to shoot out atoms at 1 billion Electron-Volts, 52 years ago the research money dried up and the AEC decided not to buy. The company diversified away from research and into industrial products of various sorts.

Now the question is why. The devices they made were like directed energy weapons, except they never used them that way. They were also like ion-propulsion spacecraft engines, but again, they never tried to use them for that.

My suspicion is that the DOD shut them down

And then took over their lines of research, because seeing the weapon potential, they wanted to control it and keep it secret.

Is it a coincidence that 52, the number of cards in a playing deck, is now converging with the number of years since 1968 when a significant event happened in the Trump family, connected with advanced energy technology?

The capacitor formulas that relate Q,C and V are interesting because Capacitors like the Leyden jar used by Ben Franklin, or the Ark of the Covenant used by the Ancient Egyptian Hebrews, are well known to most people as energy sources.

Interesting that the Department of Energy should have chosen Q to represent their highest security classification. What secrets might they be hiding?

Here is a PDF, 4 pages, describing the history of HVEC from the viewpoint of 1972.
