Lots of symbolism in that song (which can be said for all pop music pretty much – the CIA wrote some really good lyrics over the past 40 years). Just noticed in the Gold music video that there is a very young naked boy painted in gold while asleep…actually it's more like he's dead. And there's a fleeting glimpse of a gold mask too.
