You mean things like car tabs in Washington state that were mandated to be $30 a year by vote that just cost me $128 to put on a 30 year old vehicle that are only good for one year?
Sure, the fee for the tabs are $30. Then there is a local tax of $40, a weight tax, a handling fee, a fee for their computer system, a fee for the licensing outfit and on and on and on.
Then just to see who the really stupid ones are, they give you the option of donating $5 for some park service bullshit.
