image and meme sharing for non-commerical communicative purposes, that don't draw a revenue stream, ought to be protected speech, anon. If you shared something it's a unspoken, but oft memed concept, that someone will take your image and do something to it. It's friendly sometimes. Sometimes it's provokative. But it's expected.

He did not 'steal' your image.

if it were a person or a copyrighted high res image, and used for trademarks, etc, you'd have a case to 'click that shit'; 'that shit' being the little triangle that gives you a menu that has a submenu that says report . . . and we say 'oh, you didn't click that shit' but sometimes you gotta, if you were protecting important trademarked or copyrighted material and you were also a fussy litigious person tasked to be the 'I click that shit' dude/dudette who has to click that shit for clients, eccettera. And you'd be in your rights. And they'd be obligated to take down that part of the meme that you are claiming title to.

but the 'polite' thing is that if pepole aren't profiteering off your work you just say 'whatever' and see it as flattering.

you should thus be flattered.

or whatever. you be who you are.

you got an earful from me, I'll tell ya, mister.
