IIRC, the old MMR vaccine was something you took orally. Gut route.

Do not take iodine tincture internally. Only Lugol's, or Iodoral pills which are Lugol's in pill form. Lugol's liquid is cheaper than the pills.

Lugol's isn't a brand (or at least, not anymore as far as I could tell). It is defined as 1 part iodine to 2 parts potassium iodide in distilled water.

It looks like Life-Flo has both I2 and KI as well, although the concentration is much lower than a "standard" Lugol's and the ratio of those ingredients were not listed.
