H.Res. 798 Then and Now

The 116th Congress has passed H.Res. 798 to appoint managers for the impeachment trial.

The 115th Congress introduced a H. Res. 798 that did not pass the floor. The prior Resolution from 2018 was titled "Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., through the teaching of nonviolence."

Under the current 116th Congress, their H. Res. 798 is the mirror opposite, teaching violence and promoting [character] assassination.
