The history of the mormon church is a lot closer geographically to Albany than many would think.
Joseph Smith read his golden tablets just outside of Rochester in a town called Palmyra. Probably a 3-4 hour drive from NXIVMs headquarters, and obviously a few hundred year difference in time.
The catch is, this Cult works towards preserving its way of life through time.
If you can prove one is cult, for example Gloria Vanderbilt,
you're most likely to find other cult players within the family and within their network.
For example the Vanderbilt family magazine the Daily Illustrated in LA was bought out by the LA Times owned by Henry Chandler, the grandfather to Rachel Chandler the Child Handler connected to Epstein.
This connection reveals Vanderbilt to Chandler to Epstein pretty clearly.
So the point being, with the erie canal and the vanderbilt railroads in NY, it's not a hard guess to be able to find some kind of connected network from Joseph Smith to Albany. From there following the cult and blood lineage it just may bring us to Reniere. Or even Bronfman.
The Bronfmans used to have business in the wine regions of NY. Might be a good starting point.
I'm going to start tracking Joseph Smith's blood lines and see if any of his relatives are located in or around Albany. Then map their network to see what we get.
BTW, this region of NY was known as the "Burned Over District" which occurred during the Second Great Awakening. An interesting thought.
