[They] have pushed what is commonly called "easy-believeism" for decades.

"All you have to do is just believe in Jesus and you can go on and live your life any way you want cause you're good."

That's what [they] espouse. Why? Why do [they] teach/preach that?

Because that's NOT what Jesus said.

He said, "why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord' but don't do the things that I say?"

He said, "The kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the Gospel."

He said, "But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

If you die today, will you go to Heaven or Hell? Jesus has told us what we must do.

The Day is fast approaching. To quote Q, "Nothing can stop what is coming."

Anon, my sins are many as well. I have to repent everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. If we carry anger in our heart toward another person, Jesus said that is equivalent to murder. Know how many people I've "murdered?" We will never be w/o sin as long as we are in the body. Every human is a sinner. But, there is a difference between knowing you are a sinner, but asking God for forgiveness and TRYING to do better, and knowing you are a sinner, but embracing that sin and calling it good.

To quote a young street preacher: There are only 2 kinds of people in Heaven: perfect people and forgiven people, and none of us are perfect. It's the intent of the heart that God looks at.

It is by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ. The works are evidence of our salvation. But still, He says repent, doesnt mean we will never sin again. We are in the flesh, unfortunately.

The repentance unto salvation is a ONE-TIME repentance, but the repentance from sins has no limit.
