There's a difference between looking for a pattern to build in an environment where it is not mathematically designed to be so, and recognizing a plan in motion from seemingly unrelated circumstances that provide an outline leading to an eventuality that is determinable with enough research and astuteness.

This is literally what Q shows us with drops v news releases. This is the reason we're told to have faith. For those of us who can see the connections, the faith is "substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen (by others)". For those of us who cannot see, but still believe, faith is the willingness to pursue the path of righteousness, undeterred by the "popular opinion".
