One of my theories is the people who were flooding CodeMonkeys twitter when 8chan 1st went down are part of this. They would say how they would NEVER allow 8chan to come back etc. There were non-stop DDoS attacks.
fast forward to 8kun. They have been trying to destroy it, but can't. So there next step is to flood this place with complete bullshit slides, ganging up & attacking real anons, shill bakes, all the shill stuff, just amped up. I've noticed a lot more bots as well.
But I'll get attacked for posting this & it will get ignored. So I don't know what can be done atm
