I was defending Q today and the other person asked, if Scalia was 187 to create A vacancy for LL then why did Obama nominate Garland? I did not have an answer other than to point out that obama knew well that turtle wasn't going to allow a pre election hearing, so he put Garland out there as Hillary would then have to take the plunge with nominating LL. Have their been better theories?
