This looks to be "The Rook" an up-armored CAT with the capability to lift police onto the second story of a building. Looks to be a tool for SWAT in hostage or barricaded situations.

>Take a look inside 'The Rook' — an armored vehicle SWAT teams use to tear through vehicles, block an active shooter, or bust through a riot

There are videos of it on youtube

A side view of the machine give better perspective. This would be an extremely hard shot from the side which, in a SWAT situation they would not present tot he target (if they are smart). From the front none of the hydraulics look to be exposed.

Disabling the machine when it is at rest is another thing altogether. Sure you could damage the hydraulic lines when the thing is stationary, but then you have a bunch of cops looking to bust your ass for vandalism/ destruction of property.

The picture of the cops being lifted up to the roof is too small for me to get a good look but this is probably where the hydraulic lines are most exposed and would probably be when a shooter would need to take a shot, as the breach team is in the air, approaching the structure.

Of course, they're going to have sniper coverage most likely so my bet is, if you are at this stage in negotiations and SWAT is getting ready to breach, go ahead and try to take out the machine – it may get you another hour of life as SWAT just crashes through the side of your house with a military surplus MRAP that has been converted for police use.

Take those dev skills to an industry

Looking to transform

Insurance and Financial sectors are conservative by nature (typically)

FinTech is further along than InsureTech

So many opportunities to plug into Insurance

Not just car or boat, but specialtty - reinsurance - etc….brokerage, carriers, etc.

Companies that have grown through acquisition and have data aggregation issues and have struggled to innovate

Get plugged in there

If you are in California, get out

That is probably another big problem

Don't like lefties, don't work where

the pool of workers are most likely to be lefties

I was on a kick for a few months where I watched ALL of their videos. I was VERY impressed by those Stop A Douchebag people and how they were calm in the face of ragers. I couldn't believe a few of those videos where cars would be on a walking/bike path about 15 feet off the main road, just to avoid traffic to turn into that shell station in Moscow.

Can only speak from US anon perspective

In muh industry EVERYONE is moving to cloud

Azure or AWS so any skills in DEV work in the cloud = GOLD

Get a trail account and deploy a web scraper app in the cloud

Or build something using Python that does something interesting

Connect to data via API

Write some simple ETL and dump it into a cloud database

With a simple front end

Students want to focus on a fancy, highly polished front end…. demonstrate that you have the scaffolding behind the scenes

You can take that anywhere

AWS and Azure have trial accounts where you get free credits

I work around Full Stack fags and Software Engineering Fags

Most were creative art type fags that discovered a love for softwaredevfagging

So please don't put yourself into a box just because you have a game dev background

ETL, Data Integration, Getting systems to talk and gain insight…. show someone that and (you) can get plugged into any project

Build a simple ML model of of changes to a publicly available data set or something

Plenty out there… will just take determination from (you)

You got this
