Any anon considering getting a job in the Software development sector ?

Don't. Or at least be very cautious.

I am on a trial period in a small local Game Dev making android and iOS games.

I love the work. I can't lie. Making games has been a dream of mine since i was a kid.

But right now I am being vetted on my political beliefs. If I don't agree with all of their socialist talking points I get shunned.

I have done my best to not bring up politics at all. Seeing as I frequent this place and am very sure about my own political views. But even still, it's relentless and now none of my colleges wants to talk to me.

hindering my work and ensuring i wont get the job once the trial period is over….

Problem is. And the reason i'm on a trial period. I am autodidact, I have 0 papers on my skills.

The place I am now took me in because of my projects i showed them. "To give me a chance" I guess.

I've tried to get a programming job for 1+ years and this is my first.
