When I was very young, I hated the teaching to be "humble". I rebelled against it.
Now I know, that being humble means, being aware that no person does know all there is to know.
Being aware that people are prone to err, or to not understand the whole picture, or just (sometimes) are not as smart, as they wish they would be,
being aware of all these possibilities, makes one a more cautious, kinder and (hopefully) somewhat wiser person.
Now I strive to be a more humble person.
