I've been watching the DOJ press releases, and it seems a lot of them are arrests of municipal, county, and State officials.
It occurs to me that Draining The Swamp is not meant solely for black hats inside the Beltway, but neccessarily must involve Draining The Swamp everywhere.
For us common folks out in flyover country, you can Drain The Swamp inside the Beltway completely, but it doesn't matter to us if we're still living under the boot of local corruption because those local bad actors have a greater impact on our personal lives than some people in DC.
So I'm very optimistic that the Draining is progressing quite well, it just doesn't gather national attention - step back and look at the bigger picture, and you'll see what Sessions, Barr, and others have accomplished so far.
