I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near Richmond on Monday.
go kill yourself
I'm a general contractor in Iowa and I have 1 main client and 2 or 3 occasional clients and am as busy as I want to be, traveling 150 miles one way for many jobs. Would like to find something different at some point the travel drags.
Have thought about being an electrician but have always been under the impression that I had to be able to hear. I can read lips and hear people talking, I just can't understand anybody.
Do you find out that hearing is quite important on a day to day basis? Like talking to a co-worker on the other side of a wall or upstairs where you can't see them?
I know my electrical and have done a lot of residential 120V and 220V wiring on my jobs just haven't decided to do it full time. I love electrical work, will NOT do plumbing full time though.
Kek, that's something else I've thought real hard about. Being hard of hearing I won't do it for anyone else because I am afraid of arc flash blinding me from someone else's arc but I love doing it on my own. (Don't need to be deaf and blind!) I do have a 120V mig and do pretty good work with it, even built my own high side trailer last spring for my contracting business.
Thank you anon.
