Jeffrey Bronfman is the former head of the Uniao Vegetal a Brazilian Ayahuasca church based in Santa Fe.
When a barrel of Ayahuasca was seized by US customs, Bronfman fought the seizure to the Supreme court and won. As a result, ayahuasca, orally active DMT, is now legal in the US for sacramental use.
