Situational awareness has never been a problem. I won't get into a situation where that is an issue at all. I'm probably more paranoid about my own safety than the company is about it.
That's ridiculous about 0% to 20% English. I've had 10 employees over the last year, I need 1 good guy to keep doing what I'm doing. It's ridiculously hard to find the help. I have a guy who shows up on time and works 7-8 hours a day but he doesn't have the skills or the technical focus to keep up with me.
Thank you anon for the input. I currently own my own home in a small town of 1200 and keep thinking about going to Sioux City or Omaha for work, maybe rent a room and work there for the week. Not much going on around my small town.
My contracting business is doing alright but I'm not making the money I could be making if I got in the right situation. I don't have enough clients yet to make them compete for my services, lol.
