Unfortunately, POTUS doesn't understand "shall not be infringed" either:
"I support strong background checks"
"I support red flag laws, take the guns first, due process second"
"I support raising the age to 21"
"We're going to ban the bumpstock"
These do not demonstrate Trump's stated support for the 2nd amendment OR the God-given right for individuals to defend themselves OR freedom from a nanny state.
He is acting like a STATIST, just like most other politicians.

can you grow whatever products you want or need? (not talking about purchasing people)
can you travel wherever you want?
can you carry as much cash as you want?
do you own your home?
is there still debtors prison?
can you buy whatever you want?
can you say whatever you want?
can you refuse State mandated chemicals in your water, air, body, food?
