When images attach that weren't on the current Reply form, they are holdover images from a prior post, that didn't get cleared from the javascript web cache on your local system due to comms error or bug problem. It's always 2 that stay attached when this habbens. Clearing cache always fixes this particular problem. Regrettably, am well familiar with this symptom.
