Market Melt-Ups & Billionaire Backlash

There’s an old adage: There are two guarantees in life: Death and taxes. Let’s modernize this a bit shall we? While it’s true even the rich still die these days (for now), but taxes are already a debatable question. After all taxes for corporations and the rich have come down dramatically in recent years and gaming of tax codes is the professional obsession of myriads of full time lobbyists and accountants who have found and lobbied every which way for the ultra wealthy to minimize tax exposure in tax havens, offshore accounts and clever deduction schemes.

No, the modernized version of the death and taxes adage has morphed into something more sinister:

There are two guarantees in life: The rich get obscenely rich, everybody else gets to carry ever more obscene public debt levels.

This week we again get to see an annual ritual: The rich and powerful meet in Davos (119 billionaires are attending) and they get to ravel in having gotten even richer versus the year before and obscenely so as easy money by central bankers have once again levitated the prices of the very assets disproportionally owned by the wealthy: Stocks.

Company Behind MSG Says You’re Racist to Feel Negative Effects From Their Product

Who knew that feeling like garbage after eating certain foods potentially makes you a racist? Apparently, this is the new marketing strategy behind a campaign organized by the Japanese company Ajinomoto, producers of the food additive monosodium glutamate — MSG. Fortunately for Ajinomoto, CNN is backing them with a feature article to help dispel not only the cultural misconceptions, but the science as well.

As part of their campaign, Ajinomoto has enlisted “activists” to “Redefine CRS” — or Chinese Restaurant Syndrome. I actually wasn’t aware that this term has its own entry in Merriam-Webster.

: a group of symptoms (such as numbness of the neck, arms, and back with headache, dizziness, and palpitations) that is held to affect susceptible persons eating food and especially Chinese food heavily seasoned with monosodium glutamate

Ajinomoto’s campaign believes that redefining this term for Merriam-Webster should be first on the list for alerting the public about the reality of its product. According to CNN, the company would like this changed to “an outdated term that falsely blamed Chinese food containing MSG, or monosodium glutamate, for a group of symptoms.”

As you can see, this goes beyond any notion of racial bias and makes a direct assertion of false scientific claims. However, like nearly everything that falls under the purview of scientific study, there is incredible complexity with how studies are conducted, how reports are written up, who funds the studies, not even to mention one’s own individual health make-up that might lead to one person feeling effects that another does not.

I, for example, love Chinese food and I love Asian culture, but I simply can’t eat anything containing MSG without feeling absolutely miserable. My symptoms are headache, nausea and heart palpitations. Incidentally, my wife and daughter have never had an issue. I am fortunate to have a local Chinese restaurant that advertises not using MSG in their food preparations. I can, in fact, eat there without issue, so this is my personal experience. However, I’m well aware that MSG and Chinese food are not synonymous; CNN is quite correct, therefore, when they quote one of the campaign supporters:

“Calling it Chinese restaurant syndrome is really ignorant,” said restaurateur Eddie Huang, whose memoir was adapted into the hit sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat.” In the video, he pointed out that MSG is not only delicious — but found in practically all processed foods, from ranch dressing to Doritos.

This is precisely the issue for people like myself who feel negative effects from MSG — not only is it prevalent in a wide range of foods, it is now hidden under many different names. You can read here about 40 sneaky names for MSG.

Interestingly, throughout the CNN article — which I encourage everyone to read in full — there is at least lip service paid to the subject of MSG’s health effects being debatable. They cite studies that have concluded its likely negative consequences; and they cite those from organizations like the FDA and the World Health Organization which refute such claims.

Rather than restrict the definition as it stands in Merriam-Webster to offer a conclusion favorable to a company that produces the product, I’d suggest that the definition needs to be expanded to note that it is not singularly attached to Chinese food and that independent studies are ongoing to determine its health effects.

As for the company Ajinomoto (and CNN for that matter) — I’ve never liked their products, and now I like them even less for introducing race as a means of silencing legitimate scientific inquiry.

Pedo Paradise: UK Pedophiles are Buying Gambian Children for $2.60 for Their Sick & Twisted Pleasures

One British Pound is worth about $1.30 US.

Two British Pounds are thus worth $2.60 in America.

Please keep that number in mind as you read further.

We’ve all probably heard stories about low cost prostitutes overseas.

Imagine buying a child for less than the cost of a fast food burger.

It is happening in 2020.

From The Sun (UK):

TRAGIC Gambian children are being sold to British paedophiles for as little as £2-a-time by their desperate parents, Sun Online can reveal.

Huge numbers of predators are taking advantage of lax laws in the poverty stricken African country to embark on sick child abuse holidays where they openly target little boys and girls.

Our reporter was constantly shocked by the number of unaccompanied African minors he saw being cared for by middle-aged, Western men who did not appear to be their biological fathers.

The encounters witnessed included a girl aged between six and eight having lunch with a balding, white haired man in a restaurant filled with similarly aged tourists.

The same day we saw a stoutly built man in his 50s or 60s wading into the ocean gripping the hand of a tiny African child in white swimming shorts.

Equally unsettling was the sight of a Gambian toddler watching wide-eyed with fear as a middle-aged white woman got into a fist fight with a young black prostitute at a popular beach bar.

It was 11.30pm at night and the air was thick with cigarette smoke. The child, no older than two, was being held closely by a white man with a British accent.

Indictments Coming? Obama & Hillary Look Like They Are Finally Going to Get Dragged into Barr & Durham’s Investigation

Those of us who actually believe in the Constitution and the rule of law are awaiting U.S. Attorney John Durham’s factual findings and grand jury indictments detailing and holding accountable those responsible for the gross abuse of surveillance laws on American citizens by Obama’s intelligence community.

In the meantime, it would serve us well to ignore the narrative engineers within the mainstream media, specifically from the New York Times (FBI) and the Washington Post (CIA) mouthpieces, who are working to lessen the impact of what is expected to be explosive revelations of political espionage arising from Durham’s work.

And, if Durham is able to secure indictments against a slew of high-ranking Obama-era intelligence officials within the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and State Department this may be the breaking of the dam that will engulf many other scandals of his administration.

These may include, but not be limited to, Uranium One, Skolkovo, Iran nuclearization, and collusion with the then corrupt Ukrainian government to help Hillary win the 2016 election.

This is the most likely reason for the rush to impeach President Trump on previously two unheard of charges and without citing so much as a single crime committed by the president.

Afterall, headlines are the most effective tool for influencing the most willfully ignorant amongst us.

Lest we succumb to the same media narratives, we should remember the statements of U.S. Attorney John Durham and U.S. Attorney General William Barr immediately after Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his report outlining FISA abuse on December 9th.

If either Durham or Barr planned on committing another cover up, their statements would not have been as contradictory. Or, they could have avoided commenting altogether.

…we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

This is the crux of the entire spygate hoax investigation. On April 10th, 2019 AG Barr, while providing Congressional testimony, said:

“I think spying did occur. Yes, I think spying did occur.

“The question is whether it was adequately predicated. I’m not suggesting it wasn’t adequately predicated, but I need to explore that.

“I think it is my obligation.”

Based on the evidence collected to date… we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusion as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Eight months later, following the release of Horowitz’s last report, Barr was more convinced than ever that the FBI had manufacture evidence to spy, first on candidate Trump and then on President Trump.
