"Late to the party", indeed. Of course they are "aligned", not just at one level, but seamlessly across all levels. It's called the cabal, and it's almost all western governments, finance, industry, religion, media technology.
Soro's is the prince of dark money for them. He is the impervious lightning rod drawing the ire onto himself while insulating the real powers behind him. Don't get fixated on Soros. He's disgusting and abhorrent by design. This is much, much bigger than that.

That's an interesting question. Ike was an interesting study. He rode down and burned out the Bonus Marchers:

He appeared to be well on his way to integration in the Cabal but some indications are he was never (fully) accepted. Douglas McArthur called him "the best secretary I ever had". His abilities were never in question, but I believe he may have been a tool of the cabal used to maximize casualties and expense (read cabal profits and postwar positioning).
Look at the shit he had to eat on behalf of American vis a vis Bernard Law Montgomery. From Sicily to D-Day "Monty" was used as the cabal's favorite tool to do their bidding. This distasteful task of Ike, being ordered to let the cabal run the war while he was a figurehead to keep the Americans engaged and bleeding money and power to the cabal (and the British Crown), might have flipped him (Eisenhower).
His book, "At Ease", also points to the fact that his blinders were off. He warned about much more than the MIC, he warned of child labor laws ruining young men and families and much more. I think in the end he was a devout patriot, frustrated by all of the knowledge and insight he could not act upon because of the iron grip of the cabal. He did what he could, and perhaps "the plan" has its genesis with him and perhaps a few others.
My God, the history of this, if written by us, as victors, will be the epic tale of civilizations for all time.
