Idaho Bill Aims to Stop Trans Students From Joining High School Sports Teams That Don’t Align With Their Biological Sex

A Republican lawmaker in Idaho is planning to introduce a bill that would prevent trans students from joining sports teams that do not align with the sex that they were born with.

The bill is being introduced by Rep. Barbara Ehardt — a former women’s basketball player and coach.

Ehardt hopes that the legislation will help to protect women and girls from unfair advantages presented by competing with biological males.

“I am deeply invested in the continued opportunities for girls and women in sports,” Ehardt said in a statement to The Hill. She added that biological boys and men should play sports with those “whom their DNA and biology aligns.”

“We cannot physically compete against boys and men,” Ehardt said. “The inherent biological and scientifically proven advantages that boys and men possess over girls and women, regardless of hormone usage, is such that we simply cannot physically compete against them due to their inherent biological advantages.”

Ehardt spent 18 months working on the bill, which she intended to introduce in 2019, but it wasn’t ready in time.

The lawmaker stressed that the bill is not anti-LGBTQ and simply aims to protect opportunities for women and girls.

“This has nothing to do with an anti-LGBT agenda,” she said in a statement. “This is all about providing the opportunity for girls and women to continue to compete just as our counterparts, boys and men, are able to compete.”

Brennan Attacks Trump’s Lead Impeachment Lawyer Pat Cipollone For Taking Liar Adam Schiff to the Woodshed

Former CIA Director John Brennan on Tuesday attacked President Trump’s lead impeachment lawyer Pat Cipollone.

Mr. Cipollone went off on Adam Schiff and the Dems and called their case against Trump “dangerous” and “ridiculous.”

“Obstruction for going to court? It’s an act of patriotism to defend the constitutional rights of the president because if they can do it to the president, they could do it to any of you, and they could do it to any American citizen. That’s wrong,” Cipollone said.

“It’s dangerous to suggest that invoking constitutional rights is impeachable — it’s dangerous,” Cipollone said. “And you know what? It is dangerous, Mr. Schiff.”

Cipollone also called out Schiff for withholding documents from Trump’s legal team and this triggered John Brennan.

BRENNAN: During more than 33 years in public service, I never heard a government lawyer so misrepresent the facts & deceive the American public as WH Counsel Pat Cipollone just did in the Senate impeachment trial. Further evidence of the contagion of Mr. Trump’s dishonesty & corruption.

Pat Cipollone is absolutely brilliant and he has done a fantastic job defending Trump which is why Brennan and the Democrats are targeting him.

Toyota Says Recalling Almost 3 Mln Autos from US Due to Possible Airbag Failures

It appears that in cases of accidents, vehicles under electronic control are liable to electronic noise and, as a result, airbags will not deploy completely or fail to do so at all.

Auto manufacturer Toyota Motor said in a press release that it is recalling 2.9 million autos from the United States over fear that airbags may not deploy in crashes.

"Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain 2011-2019 Model Year Corolla, 2011-2013 Model Year Matrix, 2012-2018 Model Year Avalon, and 2013-2018 Model Year Avalon Hybrid vehicles in the United States. Approximately 2.9 million vehicles are involved in this recall", the release said.

In total, the company issued a recall for 3.4 million vehicles worldwide due to possible airbag failures.

he vehicles being recalled may be equipped with an electronic control unit (ECU) made by a certain supplier that is designed to receive signals from crash sensors and deploy airbags and seat belt pretensioners, the company's release said.

The ECU device made by the certain supplier not named in the release may not have adequate protection against certain electrical noise than can occur in certain car crashes, the release said. This error could lead to the non-deployment of airbags in a crash, the release added.

On 2 January, the now-bankrupt Takata Corp. announced a recall of another 10 million airbag inflators, which is considered the final phase of its large-scale recall plan, the supplier said in an official statement. The recall covered supplies to 14 automakers including Honda Motor Co., Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, BMW AG, Subaru Corp., Ferrari, and Mazda.

According to Automotive News, the lethal airbag defect was accountable for at least 24 deaths and about 300 injuries worldwide.

Following the Takata announcement, Nissan Motor Co said it was recalling more than 345.000 vehicles worldwide over previously replaced Takata airbag inflators, the agency reported on 15 January.

In mid-January, Toyota also announced a "safety recall" of approximately 696,000 vehicles due to fuel pump issues, the company said in an official statement. The recall covered certain 2018-2019 models.

Democrats Lose Their First Battle of Trump’s Impeachment Trial as Senate Votes AGAINST Subpoenaing White House For Ukraine Documents

The Democrats have already lost their first battle of Trump’s impeachment trial as the Senate voted against subpoenaing the White House for Ukraine documents.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) wanted to subpoena the White House for documents regarding Ukraine.

Schumer’s amendment requested documents related to Trump’s phone calls to the Ukrainian government and ‘delayed’ military aid.

The Democrats also asked for any communications from White House staffers and their efforts to investigate crooked Joe Biden.

All of a sudden opposition research and ferreting out corruption is an impeachable offense.

Republican Senators shot down Schumer’s amendment in a 53-47 vote on party line.

The Hill reported:

Senate Republicans on Tuesday rejected an opening effort by Democrats to compel the Trump administration to hand over documents related to the delayed Ukraine aid.

Democrats offered two amendments to the rules resolution that would have required the administration to turn over documents. Both were tabled, effectively blocking the requests, in back-to-back 53-47 votes.

The documents, according to Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.), would relate to conversations and documents between President Trump, top administration officials and Ukraine on the delayed funding, which was eventually released in September.

“No one can argue that these documents are not directly related … People should understand that the documents can shed as much light on why the aid was cut off, who did it,” Schumer told reporters during a presser before the vote.

“The documents are of equal importance. People should understand that the documents can shed as much light on why the aid was cut off, who did it, and how it evolved, as the witnesses. And we feel very strongly that we need documents and that’s why it’s our first call,” Schumer added.

In a separate request, Democrats asked for State Department documents related to Ukraine and copies of Rudy Giuliani’s communications.

Architect of CIA’s Torture Program Testifies Just Yards From Accused 9/11 Plotter He Waterboarded

A psychologist who helped to design and execute the CIA’s “enhanced interrogation techniques” testified in open court for the first time on Tuesday in connection with the trial of five men accused of planning the 9/11 attacks.

“I suspected from the beginning that I would end up here,” James Mitchell told a Guantánamo Bay courtroom. Dressed in a charcoal suit and bright red tie, Mitchell stated that although he could have testified over a video link, he had chosen to come in person. “I did it for the victims and families,” he told James G. Connell III, an attorney for Ammar al-Baluchi, one of the accused plotters. “Not for you.”

He added: “You folks have been saying untrue and malicious things about me and Dr. [Bruce] Jessen for years.”

Mitchell and his colleague Jessen were previously questioned in videotaped depositions in a civil case, but the proceedings underway at the military court complex in Guantánamo represent the first courtroom appearances by the two psychologists as witnesses. On Tuesday, the accused architect of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, sat just yards from the men who waterboarded him 183 times in a CIA black site in Poland in March 2003.

The topic of Tuesday’s hearing was a motion to suppress statements made by the 9/11 defendants while they were being held in detention, even after they were brought from the CIA’s black sites to Guantánamo. The defense attorneys allege that the statements the men made at Guantánamo were not voluntary because of the profound impact of their prior torture, which was overseen by Mitchell and Jessen.

The torture techniques, approved by the George W. Bush administration, were used by the CIA as part of the rendition, detention, and interrogation program from 2002 to 2008. These methods, including waterboarding, were designed to “condition” prisoners to provide information to interrogators and debriefers.

The CIA renounced the harsh interrogation techniques in 2009, and the Senate’s torture report later found that the program was a violation of U.S. and international law that failed to generate usable information for counterterrorism operations.

Durham ‘Spygate’ Probe Just Expanded And A ‘Strong Paper Trail’ Is Leading To Some Big Documents

As official Washington busies itself with impeaching President Donald Trump for ‘crime’ of conducting foreign policy, U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the origins of the ‘Russian collusion’ probe, a.k.a. “Crossfire Hurricane,” a.k.a. “Spygate,” is ongoing.

From her new perch at CBS News, ace national security and investigative reporter Cathrine Herridge reported late last week that Durham, appointed directly by Attorney General William Barr, was onto a “strong paper trail” of documents that surfaced in the first several months following the president’s inauguration in January of 2017.

As reported by fellow ace investigative correspondent Sara A. Carter, “The documents, which are being kept close hold, were hinted at by Attorney General William Barr in an interview he did with NBC in December and reported on by CBS News Friday.”

Carter notes that the documents “span a time period from January, 2017 until May 2017, just before the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.”

Barr has already hinted at the expansive nature of the Durham criminal probe. In June we noted:

The Justice Department on Monday announced that its probe into abuses of the FISA court and surveillance authorities by U.S. intelligence, federal law enforcement, and ‘third-party” non-governmental organizations against the 2016 Trump campaign have been expanded and are “broad,” as legal experts predicted convictions at the end of the process.

Attorney General William Barr pledged a ‘deep dive’ into what appear to be systemic abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court by ranking DoJ, FBI, and intelligence officials in the Obama administration, as his hand-picked U.S. attorney, Connecticut-based John Durham, casts a wider net.

“The review is broad in scope and multifaceted, and is intended to illuminate open questions regarding the activities of U.S. and foreign intelligence services as well as non-governmental organizations and individuals,” said Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.).

Around the same time, we noted that Durham had already met a number of times with Barr:

In particular, Durham — a corruption specialist — is “digging into the FBI’s use” of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court warrants to spy on a member of the 2016 Trump campaign, warrants that were obtained, it appears, through fraudulent representation of the bogus “Steele Dossier,” a pack of unsubstantiated lies passed off to the court by James Comey’s bureau as legitimate intelligence.

Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for Team Trump who has been keeping tabs on the investigation as it proceeds, told the network he believes that in the end, Barr and Durham will discover conclusively that the Spygate scandal “goes all the way to the top of the previous administration.”

In October, reports noted that the Durham probe had turned into a criminal investigation.

Joe Biden’s ‘conspiracy theory’ memo to U.S. media doesn’t match the facts

Former vice president Joe Biden’s extraordinary campaign memo this week imploring U.S. news media to reject the allegations surrounding his son Hunter’s work for a Ukrainian natural gas company makes several bold declarations.

The memo by Biden campaign aides Kate Bedingfield and Tony Blinken specifically warned reporters covering the impeachment trial they would be acting as “enablers of misinformation” if they repeated allegations that the former vice president forced the firing of Ukraine’s top prosecutor, who was investigating Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden worked as a highly compensated board member.

Biden’s memo argues there is no evidence that the former vice president’s or Hunter Biden’s conduct raised any concern, and that Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin’s investigation was “dormant” when the vice president forced the prosecutor to be fired in Ukraine.

The memo calls the allegation a “conspiracy theory” (and, in full disclosure, blames my reporting for the allegations surfacing last year.)

But the memo omits critical impeachment testimony and other evidence that paint a far different portrait than Biden’s there’s-nothing-to-talk-about-here rebuttal.

Here are the facts, with links to public evidence, so you can decide for yourself.

Fact: Joe Biden admitted to forcing Shokin’s firing in March 2016.

It is irrefutable, and not a conspiracy theory, that Joe Biden bragged in this 2018 speech to a foreign policy group that he threatened in March 2016 to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to Kiev if then-Ukraine’s president Petro Poroshenko didn’t immediately fire Shokin.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden told the 2018 audience in recounting what he told Poroshenko

“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations event.

GOP Must Stand Firm Against Dems Reckless ‘Impeachment’ Sham

There is nothing more obvious than a person trying to make sense of a bad argument. That’s what’s been happening with Democrats as they struggle to make sense of the most ‘ridiculous’ impeachment in U.S. history and continually search for crimes against President Donald Trump that don’t exist.

In fact, all one needs to do is watch the Democratic lawmakers as they struggled month, after month trying to find any reason to impeach Trump. The Democrats made their struggle public and failed to deliver any provable crime to support their assertion that Trump should be impeached. What they have done is stretch the truth, protect the non-whistleblower and now are attempting to re-try Trump in the Senate with more witnesses, which they alone did not attempt to question during the House impeachment trial.

It’s been a Democratic run circus since Trump took office in November, 2016. All one needs to do is watch interviews of Democrats on election night after their lives were turned upside down when they realized America voted for Trump and not candidate Hillary Clinton. Of course, the anger didn’t end there but instead, got worse.

Democrats, along with deep state supporters, have done everything in their power to remove a duly elected president. That’s exactly what’s happening now.

Trump has denied unequivocally every claim Democrats have lobbed against him during the impeachment trial in the House. There is no evidence – not even one iota of evidence that Trump has done anything impeachable. The Democrats claimed through their non- whistleblower that Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president was riddled with threats, extortion and compared Trump, through a disinformation campaign, to the likes of a mafia boss.

Guess what, like all the previous Democratic claims, it fell flat on its face. The transcript of the phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 25, 2019 was nothing what the Democrats claimed it to be and America could see it for themselves. Why? Because Trump released the summary of the transcript. BOOM! There was nothing.

From the transcripts it was obvious there was no threat, no attempt to extort money, no quid pro quo. There was no attempt to withhold $400 million in military assistance to Ukraine in exchange for an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son. Still, it isn’t enough so the Democrats, well mainly led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, found a group of disgruntled former Obama officials still working in the State Department and National Security Counsel and used them in a hearing. Except, the Democrats excluded the non-whistleblower who wrote the original report on Trump’s phone call and stated there was a ‘quid pro quo.’

Rudy Giuliani: Joe Biden Has to Be Prosecuted – There Is No Doubt About It

The first day of the sham impeachment trial took place on Tuesday in the United States Senate.

Democrats are hoping to remove President Trump from office based on two non-crimes and no evidence.

On Tuesday evening Rudy Giuliani joined Steve Bannon and The War Room to discuss today’s hearings.

The conversation quickly moved on to Lev Parnas — a liar and Joe Biden — a crook.

Rudy told The War Room that Joe Biden should be indicted.

Rudy Giuliani: I don’t know if our law enforcement has the courage to prosecute Joe Biden. Joe Biden has to be prosecuted. There is no doubt about it. He committed bribery. He was engaged in a long term scheme to use his name to extort money from countries. He did it in Iraq. He did it in China. He did it in Ukraine. It’s right in front of their eyes. And the problem is law enforcement is worried that they’re going to look like political prosecutors if they do this… The reality is if we’re going to get back to a country of one standard then Joe Biden’s got to be treated like everybody else.

Global Health Officials On High Alert As Virus's Rapid Spread Confounds Expectations

Update (1600ET): Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Henan, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Brisbane, Taipei - and now Washington State.

The viral pneumonia-like lung illness first discovered late last year in Wuhan, a mid-sized Chinese city in the center of the country, has Beijing's leadership - who are already grappling with slowing economic growth and continuing trade pressure from the US - very much on edge.

It's clear now that Beijing's initial response to reports of a new SARS-like virus was to dissemble. After initially insisting that there was no evidence that the virus could be spread by humans, health officials have now admitted that they were "wrong", and that human-to-human transmission is possible, meaning that there's no telling yet just how contagious this thing really is.

It's already spread rapidly: In just a few weeks, it's gone from a few isolated cases in Wuhan to nearly 300 confirmed cases, not just in Greater China, but also across the Asia-Pacific region, and now in the US. The fact that the CDC has already identified the first case in Washington State suggests that this is an aggressive pathogen, and health officials are duly concerned.

Pentagon bans Bible verses on dog tags, while Pres. Trump upholds right to pray in public schools

NO BIBLE VERSES ON SOLDIERS’ DOG TAGS

The Pentagon caved in to (((Mikey Weinstein))) of the atheistic Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) again.

Caleb Parke reports for Fox News, Dec. 3, 2019, that for the past 20 years, U.S. military members have been able to wear dog tags with Bible verses on them, giving them light and hope in some of their darkest times. For some Gold Star families, this is one of their most cherished possessions to remember their loved one who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Joe Biden Again Dismisses China Threat on Day of ‘Profiles in Corruption’ Release

Former Vice President Joe Biden once again ridiculed the notion that the United States should take a tougher stance against China amid fresh revelations that the 2020 Democrat’s youngest son, Hunter Biden, forged lucrative business agreements with mysterious Chinese firms.

“We talk about China as our competitor, we should be helping and benefiting ourselves by doing that,” Biden told supporters during a Tuesday campaign event in Ames, Iowa. “But the idea that China is going to eat our lunch — It’s like I remember the debates in the late nineties — remember Japan was going to own us? Give me a break.”

Biden made similar remarks in May, where he scoffed at the idea of China would overtake the U.S. amid their widespread issues with corruption.

“China is going to eat our lunch?” Biden asked during a campaign event in Iowa City, Iowa. “Come on, man… they can’t figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system.”

“They’re not bad folks, folks… They’re not competition for us,” he then added dismissively.

The comments were met with sharp rebuke from President Trump and other top Republicans. The president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., pointed out that Hunter Biden cut business deals with a Chinese bank with strong ties to Beijing’s communist party. Such revelation was detailed in New York Times best-selling author and Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer’s book Secret Empires, which outlined how Hunter Biden’s private equity firm secured $1.5 billion from the state-owned Bank of China while his father was vice president.

In June, Biden seemingly flip-flopped on his comments about China by expressing worry about the country’s technological advancements.

“You bet I’m worried about China—if we keep following Trump’s path,” the former vice president said. “While Trump is tweeting, China is making massive investments in technologies of the future.”

“While Trump is attacking our friends, China is pressing its advantage all over the world,” he added.

Macron Gambles on Undermining French Strikes with Concessions to Moderate Unions

As the longest transport strike in French history draws to a close, President Emmanuel Macron is attempting to defuse the protest movement with concessions to the more moderate labor unions. However, one large confederation, the socialist CGT, has pledged to stay in the streets, which is where real victories are won, a labor leader told Sputnik.

Steve Hedley, the senior assistant general secretary of the UK’s Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Union, told Radio Sputnik’s Loud and Clear on Tuesday that despite Macron’s electoral popularity and strength in the French parliament, militant labor unions and street protests have still been able to force an otherwise-intransigent government to move on issues affecting every French citizens.

According to Le Parisien, the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) union, which is one of the five major French confederations of trade unions, cut power to thousands of people in 11 suburbs south of Paris on Tuesday. In a statement to AP, Franck Juanno, the local leader of the CGT, called the power cut “symbolic.”

“It made a buzz, and that’s what everyone wants,” Juanno added. The CGT has continued its attempt to block Macron’s pension overhaul plan.

Deplatformed: How Big Tech Companies & Corporate America Subvert the Second Amendment

Anyone familiar with the Bible is familiar with the Mark of the Beast: Without this mark, no man may buy or sell.

Regardless of one’s religious faith or lack thereof, there is an illustrative case in this biblical story: When one cannot buy or sell, one is metaphorically up the creek. Short of producing everything one needs oneself, buying and selling are necessary parts of virtually every modern person’s life.

In our modern world, we can begin to see a sort of Mark of the Beast: While ideas and even objects aren’t banned, they are increasingly difficult to come by, not due to government fiat, but due to the machinations of corporations hostile to the American values of freedom.

One can be in favor of the free market while recognizing a simple truth: There is no way that America’s Founding Fathers would have sat on their hands while five corporations dominated American discourse and commerce. It is hard to imagine, for example, the Founders suffering a single private bank processing most of the payments in the United States and refusing to do business with gun merchants. Alternately, one can scarcely imagine that the Founders would have sat still for three companies – all of them hostile toward American values and the Constitution – dominating political discourse and deplatforming anyone who opposed them.

This is the situation in which we find ourselves as a nation today: Guns are not illegal, but private companies will make it increasingly difficult to buy, sell or own them – up to and including pulling your bank account. You have all the freedom of speech you like, but prepare to be deplatformed or have your voice buried by large tech corporations with their thumb on the scale of American discourse.

As the American economy has become more corporatist – such that the market is controlled by the interrelation between monolithic mega-corporations, Wall Street and the state – and less capitalistic and dynamic, the American press and economy are now being dominated by forces hostile toward the American public and American values.

No less an authority than James Madison warned Americans that the First Amendment alone was not enough to protect free speech. In Federalist No. 47 and Federalist No. 51, he argued that the separation of powers was necessary to protect free speech by preventing one branch of government from accumulating too much power at the expense of the others and, indeed, the rest of society at large.

This is an important point to remember when considering the First Amendment implications of Big Tech and its war on free speech and gun freedom. The Founding Fathers did not live in a world where a few large corporations had more power than the (incredibly limited and power impoverished) government had, either at the federal or the state level. It’s doubtful that they could have conceived of such a thing.

But they did carefully consider the problem of centralized power as it pertained to the rights enshrined in the Constitution. At the end of the day, the Constitution is just a piece of paper with no ability to enforce itself. What’s more, if the Founders did not address the notion that the private sector could meaningfully and substantially circumvent rights for all Americans, it was simply because they could not conceive of such a thing, not because they were writing the private sector a blank check.
