Saw this in the Notables last night, but it really sticks out to me as notable for this reason:

 

I used to live in France.

What’s interesting about this to me is that these textbooks are for “grand ecoles”.

 

In France it’s like elite schools specifically for france’s future elite to work either in high positions of govt or to head companies, this ain’t omnitech. This book wasn’t intended for the general public consumption.

 

And tbh, most people I knew in France never bought the official story anyway, but it’s pretty telling that this isn’t a textbook that’s issued in a fundamentalist madrassa; this is a book for a school at the level of a Yale or Harvard.
