Those attending the 2020 Kansas Monster Buck Classic this month in Topeka will have an opportunity to see a once-in-a-lifetime deer in person.
Andover’s Brian Butcher, a native of Emporia, will be on hand Jan. 25 and 26 with his 67-point whitetail deer he shot earlier this fall in Kansas. The deer was given an unofficial score of 321 3/8 inches, which would be the fourth-largest nontypical whitetail rack ever recorded worldwide if it holds up to official scoring by Boone and Crockett officials in 2022.
