Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Accomplice Fears Hacked Emails May Be Leaked to the Public Soon

This does not bode well for Ghislaine Maxwell.

ShareTweetFlip

While Jeffrey Epstein met a gruesome end by way of “suicide,” his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell has flown under the radar for the most part. That may be changing soon, however, if her hacked emails come to light.

Lawyers for the British socialite admitted that Maxwell’s emails had been hacked in a letter that they filed last year in Epstein victim Virginia Guiffre’s defamation case. Maxwell’s attorney, Ty Gee sent the letter to New York federal court Judge Loretta A. Preska on Dec. 5, and it was finally made public this week.

The letter notes that it is “difficult-to-overstate importance to the lives of Ms. Maxwell and the non-parties” regarding the 8,600 pages were reportedly hacked. It bemoans “the difficulty and complexity” of the entire situation, and calls for key information to be withheld or redacted.

Cyber Expert Behind A Report On Saudi Arabia’s Alleged Bezos Hack Was Paid $4 Million To Verify Steele Dossier

One of the experts who spearheaded a forensics report alleging Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hacked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s phone was also part of an attempt to verify the Steele dossier.

Bezos’s iPhone began sharing large amounts of data after receiving an encrypted video file from bin Salman’s WhatsApp account in May 2018, according to a November 2019 report cobbled together by Anthony Ferrante, a cyber expert at the advisory firm FTI Consulting. The report, which Vice News published Wednesday, concluded with “medium to high confidence” that the crown prince’s phone was involved.

Department of Justice Joins Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers for Human Trafficking Roundtable

The Department of Justice today joined the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) and federal and local law enforcement officials at a roundtable to discuss the challenges posed by human traffickers. The meeting was held following the launch of FLETC’s Human Trafficking Awareness Training last week.

Bill Woolf, Senior Advisor for Human Trafficking in the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP), participated in the event along with Tania Groover, Assistant U.S. Attorney and Human Trafficking Coordinator for the Southern District of Georgia, and Kai Munshi, FLETC’s Chief of Security and Professional Responsibility.

“Human trafficking is a sophisticated and obscenely profitable global enterprise, and combating it demands the full coordination of law enforcement agencies at all levels,” said OJP’s Woolf. “The Department of Justice is very pleased and proud to lend its support to the brave men and women here in southeastern Georgia — and throughout the country — who pursue trafficking perpetrators and bring aid to trafficking victims.”

The roundtable convened law enforcement leaders from Glynn County and the City of Brunswick, as well as officials from the enforcement units of the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. They and their counterparts from across the nation are among the first to take part in FLETC’s human trafficking training program. The training was piloted in May and is now part of the permanent training catalog.

“Human trafficking is modern-day slavery, subjecting individuals to involuntary servitude for the profit of others,” said U.S. Attorney Bobby L. Christine of the Southern District of Georgia. “Building awareness of these fast-growing criminal enterprises will help in the fight to eradicate human trafficking, and our office will vigorously prosecute those who would illegally exploit victims of this despicable trade.”

If you don't want to date "woke" women you're pretty much a terrorist, that's the suggestion in UK journo Vicky Spratt's latest column for Vice Media outlet Refinery29.

The anti-woke, anti-women movement which Laurnce Fx has appointed himself as a poster boy for is dangerous and shouldn't be ignored. New for @Refinery29UK on how hostility towards women feeds into far-right ideas https://t.co/iiZJyycf4T

Closer Everyday ..And the brainwashing continues

Swipe left on Big Brother? Tinder adds user-tracking ‘panic button,’ because there’s always a predator somewhere

Dating app Tinder has added a ‘panic button’ feature that tracks the user through a ‘date’ and allows them to surreptitiously notify authorities if they’re in trouble. The company insists users are fine with the loss of privacy.

The precision location tracking feature lets Tinder users store details about their dates and their planned itinerary so that authorities can be quickly and comprehensively notified at the touch of a button should anything go awry. Triggering the panic button results in a text from Noonlight, the company behind the technology. If the user doesn’t respond with reassurance that all is well, the emergency services are alerted.

Vaccine against deadly coronavirus will take at least one year

The development of a vaccine against the deadly coronavirus will take at least a year, according to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI).

The mysterious disease has infected more than 500 people and caused 17 deaths.

Scientists still know very little about the virus, GAVI’s CEO Seth Berkle said. Several organisations have begun to study the disease, but it will take “several months” before we can proceed to clinical trials.

It will take at least a year for a vaccine to be available, according to GAVI, which includes both public and private sectors.

The new coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, a city of 11 million people in central China, at the end of December 2019. Cases of the new coronavirus, which is in the same family of viruses as the Middle East respiratory syndrome-related (MERS) coronavirus and Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), have since been identified in Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and one case in the United States.
