Cornwall, especially St.Ives has a pretty tightknit community. If kids were going missing regularly I think it would be in the media.
After a perfunctory search I cannot find any numbers of missing kids in Cornwall.
Because we never use the media for research do we… plenty of hotspots for missing children in the UK, St Ives + Cornwall not one of them AFAIK.
