While the French will go out into the street over little things, this effort is very sustained and still strong. Macron is losing badly, and POTUS putting the screws on everyone at Davos only tightens the screws more. Governments are going to fall (I don't mean violent revolution!!) this year due to massive pressure from below. Americans are lucky because we finally have a champion in office, so POTUS can exert pressure from above while we exert it from below (think of a pair of pliers) - we will give France and others support that will not replace their own pressure from above but our pressure (citizens, from below) will be a force-multiplier effect for them.
