>What makes a good movie?
A great script, good actors, plot twists, clever foreshadowing, a few red herrings, a climatic resolution that leads to a more hopeful and loving tomorrow.
A betrayal by a good guy, and a bad guy that turns to the good side by the end.
When everything looks like the bad guys will win, the heroes coming through with a surprising (but sublty foreshadowed) victory. The heroes winning despite being up against impossible odds.
A story that you understand more, the more you think about it. And each time you re-watch it you appreciate more the skillful artistry, logical connections, moral encouragement, the connections to classic philosophy & spiritual truth, and nods to the great works that came before it.
