Three al-Qaeda terrorists caught trying to enter US with Colombian passports
Three members of the al-Qaeda terrorist group were stopped and apprehended trying to fly into Dallas while using passports from Colombia. The three entered Colombia via Venezuela.
The three al-Qaeda members who are from Syria, entered Colombia in La Guajira, in northeast Colombia. The three men were able to obtain actual passports as they had documentation experts located in the country. The RCN channel was the first to break the story.
The three Syrian citizens were able to obtain a civil registry, identity card, and passport in a network detected by the Registry and already investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office. The identities of the arrested terrorists have been released. The first is Al Raefee, whose passport says he was born on January 1, 1974, and whose ID number is 1,221,979,790. Although he is supposedly 45 years old, he was assigned an ID number as if he was under 25.

Flood crisis in Sistan and Baluchestan province
Iran, January 23, 2020—It has been almost two weeks that floods have stricken the deprived province of Sistan and Baluchestan, southeast Iran, with an estimated damage of over one billion dollars.
While local people are suffering from lack of basic needs and cannot provide their food and water, the Iranian regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei spent over $600,000 for the funeral ceremony of terrorist Qasem Soleimani. The state-run media report $100mn of damage to the agriculture sector. Almost all the fruit gardens are sunk in water and mud. In some villages, all the livestock have perished.

FEC complaint filed against Sen. Sanders nonprofit by Watchdog group
A complaint filed by a Watchdog group with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday, Jan. 22, declared a dark money group founded by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is in violation of federal campaign finance law.
The nonprofit group Our Revolution is a political group founded by Sanders in 2016, and by boosting Sanders presidential campaign since February 2019, it has violated the federal ban on “soft money,” states the complaint from the watchdog group Common Cause.
If a group is “directly or indirectly established” by federal officeholders such as Sanders, it is unable to “solicit, receive, direct, transfer, or spend funds” exceeding limitations of the law, and in the case of Our Revolution, that amount is $5,000 per election.
“Because Sanders set up Our Revolution and they have raised and spent money in candidate elections, Our Revolution is required to comply with contribution limits, register with the FEC, and discloses its donors—but it hasn’t,” Common Cause attorney Paul S. Ryan told The Associated Press. “It’s his establishment of the group that triggers these laws. That means a $5,000 limit, full donor disclosure, and no contributions from prohibited sources.”

WHAT A SHOCK (NOT): “Sharia law graduate” in charge of the Islamic State (ISIS)
The Daily Mail came out today with what some folks must have thought was a revelation: the new head of the Islamic State is a sharia-educated scholar.
This should come as no surprise, the recently killed Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was also a highly educated sharia scholar with a PhD is Islamic Studies.
Now, his successor, Amir Mohammed Abdul Rahman al-Mawli al-Salbi, is also an expert in sharia with a degree in sharia from the University of Mosul.
As an aside, just as was the case with al-Baghdadi, al-Salbi had also been detained and held by U.S. forces in Iraq. In fact, The Guardian reports that al-Salbi and al-Baghdadi met while being held prisoner by U.S. forces.
As frustrating as that is, the more important point here is that this is further evidence that Jihadists like al-Baghdadi and al-Salbi were not ignorant or fringe characters.
Sharia is close by at the core ideology of terrorist groups like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, HAMAS and other Jihadist organizations. According to sharia, the world must submit to Allah and live according to sharia as a one world state, referred to as a caliphate.
Sharia mandates violent jihad against non-Muslims to establish Islam’s rule worldwide. For those Muslims who cannot engage in physical jihad using force, sharia mandates that they support jihad financially—“Jihad with money.”

Russian choppers roll out new model for special forces
Russian Helicopters (a Rostech subsidiary) developed a new version of the Mi-8AMTSh-VN Special Forces helicopter with enhanced weapons, says CEO Andrey Boginsky.
Last summer, Russian Helicopters signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to furnish 10 original version helicopters to the Russian Special Operations Forces.
“We already have an upgraded appearance of the AMTSh-VN. Let’s say, it has expanded its options and capabilities – not so much the vehicle itself, but its extra equipment,” Boginsky said.
He explained that the makeover has “improved the weapons, the means of target detection and identification.”
“We’re talking higher level systems. This is the result of integrating solutions offered through our cooperation,” the CEO noted.

Study shows prominent apps are selling your data to 3rd parties

In a study [PDF] conducted by the Norwegian Consumer Council named ForbrukerrĂĄdet on 10 apps, it has been found out that several popular dating apps such as Tinder, OkCupid & Grindr along with certain popular menstrual help apps such as Clue and MyDays have been sharing the personal data of users with as much as 135 different third parties for advertising purposes.
This data includes one’s location, age, gender, sexual orientation, drug use, religious & political views although varying from case to case depending on the information one has given to these specific apps.

Big Oil Joins Hands With Climate Change Agenda
Qatar, the leading liquified natural gas (LNG) producer for decades, until being eclipsed this year by Australia, is going solar. The tiny gas rich kingdom, however, won’t stay in second place for long. It has plans to ramp up its current 77 million tons per annum (mtpa) of LNG liquefaction capacity to a record-breaking, market changing 126 mtpa by 2027, leaving Australia in its wake.
Qatar’s ramp up in production also likely has geopolitical motivations as well as commercial and market considerations. Looking forward, if there is regime change in neighboring Iran, which shares the gas prolific north field in the Persian Gulf with Qatar, Iran could become a major gas competitor in the region and further abroad as it develops its own LNG infrastructure. Qatar’s LNG maximization plan is also likely a pushback against the boycott put in place by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain in 2017 over allegations that Qatar funds and aids radical terror networks – a claim that Doha vehemently denies.
