Flynn cannot be forced to testify! This is misleading.
The US attorneys are who is being indirectly asked to testify and they will have to testify if Flynn's lawyers call them. They can plead the 5th .

Contreras recused to preserve his Judicial immunity but he heard the case long enough for Flynn to plead guilty. If Conteras ruled again in the case when there was reasonable suspicion that Fraud Upon The Court took place, he would have lost his immunity from prosecution.
Sullivan knows this is dirty and is doing everything he can to keep from ruling on the case.
The request for witness testimony is NOT about Flynn testifying, it is about U S attorneys testifying to his accusations.
They are not private citizens and would be required to answer in front of a Judge to the accusations of misconduct.
They can invoke the 5th if they want but they cannot refuse get on the stand.
