I have personal knowledge of price fixing of oil/gasoline. Prices get set nightly based on gas station survey data (Lundberg) and light oil rack rates. Each brand knows where they fall in line. Exxon is the highest, other brands in the middle, and then smaller brands at the end. Each brand knows where it is in the lineup so prices can swing consistently based on the nightly pricing stats.
Meanwhile, free energy is available and technology is suppressed to maintain this trillion dollar industry.
