funny thing about antennas is that if you impedance match them to the transmitter you can key up and be loud with not a lot of wattage.

 

How many watts is haarp (or cern, even though it's not technically an 'antenna' per se) pushing when it's active, again?

 

It's been observed that cern directly effects the Earths magnetic field. Which means it's pretty fucking powerful.
