The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) brings together more than 400 businesses and nongovernmental organizations to advocate for a robust diplomacy and development budget. Among its backers are former Cabinet and Congress members of all political stripes, as well as top military brass, including nearly 150 retired three- and four-star generals and admirals representing all five branches of the Armed Forces who support a “smart power” approach to foreign policy that relies on both U.S. troops and diplomats to engage the world.
