The half/pol thread is a LARP, but the
incomplete, conflicting info coming out of China is leading to wild deltas between low end and high end danger estimates. It's a bit infuriating. Usually overlaying all the chatter (from pure gov't propaganda to anecdotal social media posts) and a well trained eye can amplify the truth signal in all of the noise. However I haven't been able to determine what noisy signals are above or below 3 sigma, making it impossible to find an accurate baseline.
