Just occurred to me that the Starfleet command logo and the new Space Force logo resemblance could be a BOOMERANG reference (in addition to other things)?
The Starfeelt logo looks kinda like a boomerang.
Also, search of "boomerang" yields fidget-spinner looking things too. They were handed out to Senate Members to entertain in lieu of tech.

I'm on your side, but in my allegiance to looking at this fairly (and poke a hole in your argument), if the victim were a prostitute and the criminal was her pimp who wouldn't pay her unless she revealed something about one of her John's, she might be so afraid of/intimidated by the pimp that she'd claim non-victimhood to avoid feared retaliation. Just sayin' But yeah, this trial is total BS, of course. Just don't think your argument stands with the bully (U.S.) playing a theoretically intimidating abuser of the woefully-inferior/weaker Ukraine.
